Feria de la Salud Acuario - Acuario Health Fair

Acuario Senior Apartments presented the 1st edition of the Health Fair at the Acuario Hospital on 23 May 2009.

It was a day filled with joy and valuable information on different aspects of health. Throughout the day various presentations presentaráon in hospital facilities and Acuario Senior Apartments, by our experts discussing topics from the Neurology, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Physiotherapy and Osteopathy, Pathology, Assisted Reproduction, Surgery and psychology to traditional Chinese medicine and yoga as tools for health.

Broadly speaking we go to the papers of Dr. Henry Lebrero about the prospect of childbirth along with a representation of our midwives, assisted reproduction from IREMA, aspects of incontinence by Dr. Van Harmelen and soil rehabilitation specialist Vicent pelvic Camarena, knew better what to Mayca Perosanz Osteopathy, Physiotherapy Coordinator of Hospital Services, preventing cervical cancer and breast cancer by Dr. Manuel Gonzalez, prevention of skin cancer by Dr. Ruud Valks and our surgeons Dr. Rongen and Dr. Lorenz gave us ideas to have a clean bowel on the prophylaxis of cerebral ischemia Dr. Dettmann will give us clues, the psychologist will speak Sabina Garcia Emotional Health and homeopath Dr. Calvo Health and Food. Yoga for Daily Life Dr. Lühr illustrated the topic and we attended a demonstration of Acupuncture and Tuina Moxa directed by Maestro Juan Jose Matoses addition to liven up the evening with his own band at the end of the day.

Some of our specialists gave their speeches in several languages (Spanish, English, alemany Netherlands). Furthermore contarmos trading post in the garden with a wide variety of products that could be bought and that help improve our quality of life.
